New Operations

Yesterday we got hit with some new Operations, and some good updates, as well as some bad updates :(

First off, there are now two different "Take out a Rival operations" first the old one that we all know and love

Needs 7 people and is a Hard Op And its rewards, where nice at the time, now not so good

And its replacement Same name, Different image, and only needs 6 people not 7

And different rewards!

You will recognise the Z17 Micro and the Grim Reaper both great rewards, but also 2 new ones! Both with great stats!

Finally there are 3 new Operations
Evade the Coast Guard Hard, 5 players needed

Again with some great new rewards!

 And here are the 2 Rare items for this operation Well worth looting, and on a Per Energy scale will drop more often then loot in Italy or Brazil!

 Another new one, Easy this time!

HiJack an Ocean Liner (Medium) 4 players needed

To add to our new operations there where some more changes some good some bad
First there is no option to start a operation later. When getting a operation popup we use to be able to click the X in the top corner and start the op later, well this has gone away. Now when we click the X it gives us the option to delete the operation, so we no longer have the in game option to start a operation later. So far the only work around is to close the page, and open another copy of Mafia Wars :(

A good change is now you can Join your own operation, rather then spending the reward points for a mercenary to finish it for you, but you can only join your own once :( and sorry no double rewards Just because your the owner and your also completed it, doesn't mean the Zygon gods are going to bless you with twice the loot

The last good change is now you can ask for help in a friends operation! Much like many have been doing for quite some time, using Mission-A-Nator by team Spockholm. The Jury is still out on this one, no one is sure if its going to be a good feature or a BAD one! Sure asking is nice, but in Mafia Wars there are just to many people that click, then never do anything about it! And now operations, can be shared by me, to friends of friends from the original owner, then shared again to friends of friends of friends from the owner. I can see more slackers sitting in missions and more owners forgetting all about their operations!
