Before the next rumour stats about the use of scripts, let me just point out two words
"abusive botting"
Not scripts, but BOTS, a script performs a simple repeative task over and over, like doing 300 jobs, fighting 1000 fights, or killing one of the re-healing bosses in Brazil, a BOT plays the game for you..... you click go it does jobs, fights, collects your properties... it does everything in one application!
So if your out there and useing a BOT, Just make sure its not Abusive! If your not using a Bot, then consider yourself on the "safe" side of the lines
Either way im glad to see the game speed up with some of these players being banned and lowering the server load! Anything to make Mafia Wars faster and Fairer in a good thing in my books!
As far as i know, no it wouldnt be, as its VERY hard to prove that you dont have 5 people living with you, or sharing your wireless connection...

Is this going to address the current 'try refreshing' issue going on ? or did they kill all the legitimate players and leave the bots to play with each other?
ReplyDeleteok thanks .... i am worried because in the case of trading we have limit of 10000 gifts so we use another account for sending items....also if facebook allows multiple accounts?
ReplyDelete@ROX Facebook doesnt allow more then 1 account per person, and Zynga's TOS have a line saying that you must abide by Facebooks TOS....
ReplyDeleteSo you are breaking the rules, and you might be caught... but they arent LOOKING for people with more then one account, just the same as the cops arent on every street corner looking for J-Walkers
@Roberto Im not having any issues yet, so it might be server based
If you look at the To's their is also now gifting allowed in MW so everyone breaks the rules
