Beat the Devs

The newest event has started for April 1st! And this one is not nearly as shocking as finding Unicorns in Mafia Wars!

The Title of this latest event is BEAT the DEVS and I can assure you everyone will beat the devs, and a few Devs they are going to go back to beat up again and again!!!

The most troubling thing about this event, is it was actually a idea presented by the PAC at San Francisco back in late February, so with this event starting I can officially stamp my foot down and say that Zynga does listen to the PAC! Now to just get them to act quicker!

To start the event head over to the Settings tab and click on Beat the Dev's!

The main page will give you a introduction to all the Dev's and what they do... as well as a blank space to their left for your reward from beating each one of them

With 6 Dev's to beat lets have a look at them all!

First up is The Kid, he is the one we can blame for all our properties being flash based now!!!

Luckly enough this young kid is easy enough to beat, and after he has been put in his place you can get his trading card

Next up the Professional!
This is the man responsible for Mafia wars in other languages, and the list of bugs we have seen as a consequence, as well Nerfing any feature we actually like!

 Again this guy is a pushover, after beating him you get the next trading card

For the 3rd Boss we have Slacker Jack! Now that's a job I could get behind!
This is the guy we can blame for new cities, you would think with a name like slacker Jack he would make loot drop every time you did a job! just so he didn't have to work so long at collecting 501 of each!

Boss number 4 The dreaded Mad Gifter!
This guy is the man we have to blame for the prized pigs, and he still hasn't got over the fact he couldn't collect enough prized pigs to get the grand prize and his very own a Oinker
He should of really gone crying to Customer Support, like many other players do!

 So far I've understood EVERY speach bubble except this one.... Push at 50 food? WTF does this guy smoke around the office?

 The 2nd to last boss we Have Mr Blue Eyed Nate he is one of the Community mangers for the Mafia Wars studio and I had the pleasure of meeting him in SFO for the Player Advisory Committee
In saying that it was still great to give him a beat down!

 This is card, I'm sending to Bossy as she is ALWAYS trying to get Nate to sit still and answer some of her questions! In fact I think she is on a collection mission to see how many of these cards she can collect to play against Blue Eyed Nate when she needs to!

And for the last Boss we have the Art Gamer She is the lovely lady we have to blame for all the panic a year ago when the Unicorns where released into out then brand new Chop Shop! Arrr great times!

 Again a easy beat down, and I thank her so much for the art work she put in last year, even if it only lasted a day, its something that no Mafia Wars player has forgotten and started a GREAT tradition!

Well Zynga this was another great, event, I just wish there was a achievement, or some loot, or something for to remind us of the first event we have ENJOYED in months!!!
