The Golden Promotions are still being rolled out, and I got my first one today, These started rolling out the end of last
month these give "great" rewards every 5 levels
The catch with these new promotions you need to allocate all your skill points to get the "Bonus Rewards" Which can be good.... but the have a overwhelming chance of being something BAD!!!

So far this was the first Golden Promotion on my account, and the thought of allocating 1224 Skill points 5 at a time was to much too bear Specially when from my profile I can dump 100 skill points at a time
Overall I'm glad I finally got this, Just in case I ever decide to spend all my skill points again.... But then again with the chance of getting something GOOD so slim, and the chances of getting something CRAP so high, I think I'm going to save my 1k+ Skill points for a rainy day!
What makes this "Bonus reward" so abysmal is I know some players have had this for over a month, And yet I'm just getting it now, and there are other players out there that STILL don't have it....
Sure if players had allocated their Skill points, and had the Mini energy packs Most players could level up to 10 times a day with those, That's at least 60 CHANCES they have had to get the Golden Promotion rewards....
Remind me exactly how your "keeping the game fair" and "levelling the playing field" Zynga... i'd Love to know!
i never save my skill points and still receive the golden promotions all the time
ReplyDeleteI think that these attack and defense bonuses are being considered for the lower level players that are starting out and want to spent their skill points on energy or stamina rather than attack or defense :)
ReplyDeletei wonder if those "last 3"/ bug free mafia wars have anything to do with how many skill points you allocate?? i had 400 to allocate and got the 3 defense points.

also, why don't you open up a second window with your profile and allocate the skill points on there by the 100. then, when you get low, go back to the window with the pop up and do what's left by 5. i bet it would work that way, it would change to reflect what SP you have.
