Sure the reward is one of the best so far, featuring a impressive 151 attack and 87 defence

But im Sorry this event just makes me Cringe, having to complete not just 6 missions but 9 this time its just to much, sure we get 9 days to complete it in... but between asking your Mafia for help, Building in the Armoury, the Chop Shop and the Port then at the end waiting 48 hours for the Tenement in NY to finish being "ready" its just to much.... So no Review this time around, drag your self thru it mission by mission guys, As I don't even think im gonna bother finishing this one

New York Property Upgrade Sale

Earlier today Zynga updated the New York Non cash Properties, and unlike the Chop Shop and Weapons deport before them, these where done WITHOUT events....

Instead it seems with the dropping player numbers they decided to cash in whilst they could Releasing a Sale just hours afterwards, And this Sale has so much advertising you CANT miss it!
First with a add in the updates Module on the home page

Then again on out Homepage when we go to Build our items

 Again when we upgrade out Properties

If that wasnt enough there was also a Popup again REMINDING YOUR THAT THERE IS A SALE ON SO UPGRADE CHEAPLY NOW

But with all these ad's for the sale, How good is it? Well the answer is it INST, Sure its a Sale they are cheaper, but you need a grand total of 750 construction pieces to get from A Level 10 Private Zoo and Armoury to their level 15 counterparts, Normally construction items are sold for 1 RP each, But Zynga is doing a SALE Not 2 for one, But 3 for 2

So the good news is RATHER then the ridiculous price of 750RP its now only 500RP to Buy your way from level 10 to level 15 for both properties.....

The ONLY good news about this sale, is because these consumables are giftable, you can boot up your now mainly idle Energy accounts, Buy up big on the items, and gift them back to your main account, Something Zynga detests, and might lead them to finally doing something about alternate accounts

With the new property upgrade, I bring yet more bad news, Sure you can ASK for 5 parts per day, and you can help 5 friends per day and score another 5 parts, and finally you can accept Mystery Shipments, that still aren't fixed for Brazil, but now will finally work with your New York Properties and get yet another 5 parts there, But thats only 15 Parts per day, 750 parts to get, Close to 2 months to upgrade both Properties... Maybe some Free gifts would speed the process along....

Sorry Guys, Yep your free gifts page, has USELESS Mystery Animals, Italian Lira, Brazil Real, +2 Mafia Members, 2 items for the New Gifting event also released today, Sure it does have The Feeding Trough and Terarium for the Private Zoo, but that's only 2 of the required 10 Items your going to need! Currently there are only 3 options to complete these properties within a reasonable amount of time

1. Beg for 2 months to complete them
2. Use your RP (or someone elses) to buy the items
3. Trade for them, But many players stockpiles (including my own have vanished)
4. Use the  Link-a-Nator By team Spockholm as it still has the old gifts listed

So Enjoy the latest upgrades, and the New found Spaming your going to end up doing, Between the Mystery Bags needed for the Superhero collection, The Terminator Vs Rambo Event, and now the Private Zoo and Armoury upgrades Expect your limit of only 200 gifts a day to be hit for the next few days, trying to Catch up with Zynga's release Cycle!

Terminator vs. Rambo Gifting Event

Terminator and Rambo are here, and we have 6 Days as promised to complete this event

For a change Zynga kept their Promise of less gifts and we only need a total of 100 Gifts for complete mastery of both "badass'"

The only good things I can say about these events, is After collecting your 10 items, you DON'T have to stop to click to complete the mastery unlike the traditional gifting events, You can collect all 50 gifts, then click to complete each level of Mastery if you wish

As with every Zynga Copy Paste, there are always Mistakes, The FAQ Says the event will end on the 4th of May 2011. Yet The In game Info Popout box Disagrees Listing the 5th Of May 2011 as the end date

But the Timer says this event will end on the 4th of May So no one is sure I guess, Either way grab a screen shot of the Info Box now, Just in case you don't have enough time to finish the event, you can always go to Customer support and ask for the extra Day back!

At the end of the day, This is a fairly easy Event to finish Get your 100 gifts and then keep collecting, as once masterying a side the gifts turn into all important Blue Mystery Bags used for the newly Released Super Hero collection, or the for Items on your Wishlist, personally im going to be collecting Terminator items, as I'd much prefer the Bump in Attack rather then Defence!

Armory and Zoo get upgrades!

Without warning, OR a EVENT The Armoury and Zoo both just got upgrades, Now they go to level 15 Like our Weapons Deport and Chop Shop

With more upgrades more items have been added, here is the Armoury Levels 11 to 13

And 14 and 15

And the Private Zoo also got 5 New items here is 11 to 13

And 14 and 15

The good news is there is no real rush to upgrade, Zynga doesn't know it but good players build items according to how many skill points they get Although 5 New items have been added to the Armoury and the Zoo, in the Case of the Armoury your better off building the Power Armour for its +2 stamina and +2 energy rather then one of the larger items only offering 3 skill points to attack or defence
The same applies to the Private Zoo, the Tiger Shark or Gharial over the Raccoon or the Coconut Crab as they give the same amount of skill points, but don't require as much daily Spam for more Exotic animal feeds!

The ONLY items that have stats over and above Fight Loot, Vegas Loot, and Fight Club loot, are the Level 15 items, the Wildebeest, and the Stout Shoulders But who needs more health? and For the extra Daily Spam of having to ask for YET MORE special parts (that are OFF the free gift page more then they are on) is it worth the effort?

TopMafia's Top Tip: Build one of the 3 old items, Save yourself the daily Spam! The power Armour has more Skill points then any of the new items offered in the Armour, and the stats on the new Zoo items are only SLIGHTLY higher then the old items, yet offer the same amount of skill points for twice as many Exotic animal feeds!

Golden Promotion

The Golden Promotions are still being rolled out, and I got my first one today, These started rolling out the end of last month these give "great" rewards every 5 levels

The catch with these new promotions you need to allocate all your skill points to get the "Bonus Rewards" Which can be good.... but the have a overwhelming chance of being something BAD!!!

So far this was the first Golden Promotion on my account, and the thought of allocating 1224 Skill points 5 at a time was to much too bear Specially when from my profile I can dump 100 skill points at a time

Overall I'm glad I finally got this, Just in case I ever decide to spend all my skill points again.... But then again with the chance of getting something GOOD so slim, and the chances of getting something CRAP so high, I think I'm going to save my 1k+ Skill points for a rainy day!

What makes this "Bonus reward" so abysmal is I know some players have had this for over a month, And yet I'm just getting it now, and there are other players out there that STILL don't have it....
Sure if players had allocated their Skill points, and had the Mini energy packs Most players could level up to 10 times a day with those, That's at least 60 CHANCES they have had to get the Golden Promotion rewards....
Remind me exactly how your "keeping the game fair" and "levelling the playing field" Zynga... i'd Love to know!
