Unlimited Mini Energy Packs

So we all know that the Mini energy packs are being removed, again this is a slow roll out going back to the standard 125% energy packs.....
Well for those players that still have the Mini energy packs its time to make the most of them!

Remember how the FAQ says you can get 6 Mini packs per 24 hours?

Well since Zynga is rolling back to the old system of 125% energy packs they changed over the code..... with the OLD Packs there is no limit to how many you could get in a day... The limit was how many you could use per day!

Now the Mini Packs where limited by how many you could GET per day (being 6) this chuck of code has now been removed.....

So for those with Mini packs.... because of the new code there is no limit to how many you can GET per day, and no limit to how many you can USE per day....

Rather then fill your screen with screen shot after screen shot showing me Empty and refill my Mini Packs Go use them, JUMP into Brazil and start clicking like MAD! Use up those energy packs, and then visit the Link-a-Nator by Team Spockholm and get your tinyurl for more Mini packs and post it to your news feed!!!
Ive just got thru using my 16th Mini energy pack today!

I have a feeling the SLOW roll out from Mini pack to the standard Energy packs just got a LOT faster!

P.S. Normally before I post something like this I test it over several accounts, but as the only account I have that still has the mini packs is my own, this hasnt gone of the normal due diligence of Top Mafia bug post

New Mystery bag collection

When logging in today, I saw the new advert for the New Mystery bag collection, "The SuperHero Collection"

The collection features Famous comic books heroes, and the Vault reward is nice as well, 20 Skill points for completing the collection! No news yet if there is a re-vault to this collection we can only hope there is!

No news yet if this makes the 3rd generation of Mystery bags with new rewards or if this new collection has just been added to the current mystery bags

But Zynga really needs to test thing before releasing them, currently the new collection hardly drops, and if it does it doesn't always get credited to your account
So far 129 Mystery bags in, and not one collection item dropped so far

And if you thought you could at least get some to drop by adding them to your wishlist, well I had the same idea, 129 Bags and not one wishlist item, I think its safe to say that they don't drop as wishlist items!

So it looks like this collection much like the Precious collection in Brazil the ONLY way your going to get this collection is via the Daily take!

Please Zynga fix this, whats the point of a Mystery bag collection item that DOESNT drop from Mystery bags?

Facebook gifting is broken

Facebook broke their gifting page, Normally after sending out 40 gifts in Mafia Wars you can re-open the gifting page and send out at least 10 more well a few days ago Facebook broke all applications rather then sending your allotted 40-50 gifts, Mafia Wars like many other applications is limited to just 32 gifts. Sounds bad doesn't it less gifts per day is the last thing we need!

Well I do have good news, when Facebook break it they do so well, now there is NO limit to how many gifts you can send per day! Here i am sending my second batch of Mystery Bags to my Mafia today

So far I've sent gifts to everyone of my friends from A to C sending 32 gifts at a time but remember with Italy Loot going giftable Mystery Bags are the ONLY gift that doesn't have a Daily cap on it so if your feeling generous and want to send your who Mafia a gift, Skip the latest gifting events and send a Mystery Bag instead! Least when they are sent back you can get some more IHEL from your wishlist!

Also this BUG applies to EVERY Facebook application it seems, so far I haven't found one that has a limit on it

More Brazil Bugs

Thanks to Mindy for pointing out another Bug, I'm just sorry that she had to find it the hard way
She was just trying to buy the last required items for the current Job she was working on, needing a cool 883,000 Brazilian Real she was confident that she had enough money from fighting and previous jobs so she clicked Do Job to open the purchase popout and she was greeted with this lovely message telling her she didn't have the required cash

So she scrolled all the way back to the top of her game to check how much cash she had had on hand BRL$902,597 cash on hand, Now someone at Zynga tell me WHY 902K isn't enough to buy 883K worth of gear?

Well the good news is I can answer this for Zynga, its the way they do their calculations Mindy already had the Abelha Helicopter from Mastering the 4th tier of Brazil so she gets a 10% Discount on all purchases. So her 883K worth of gear actually costs BRL$ 981K and this is were Zynga is making the mistake, its telling her she doesn't have enough cash to pay full price and offering her to buy more Brazilian Real before charging her the discounted price

The good news is if she had the extra 80K Real it would of run the purchase through at the cheaper price, or as I suggested she go into the City store and bought each item individually, to bypass this little bug

So a lesson Zynga apply DISCOUNT first, Then check to see if someone has enough cash NOT the other way around!

Brazil Mastery items removed

A few days after Brazil's release the mastery loot got a update, originally they just had the profile bonus which where nice, but Zynga being in a kind mood decided that they wished to also apply these items in combat, so they gave them loot scores as well! They problem was at the time, those who had mastered a chapter more then once, had every mastery loot, so a player could have Bronze, Silver, Gold and Ruby! After adding combat stats to the items it did give a unfair advantage :(

So for the time out inventory looked like this

Well Today whilst Zynga was busy fixing other bugs, they got to this one as well, now if you check your inventory you will find that you are now shown your mastery item, as well as the Ruby mastery item for that chapter, assuming you haven't completed to Ruby level

As a consequence combat has changed as well

Brazil Energy bug fixed

From the day Brazil was released it had bugs in it these went far and wide! But it seems someone showed up at work today with some bug spray and got to work!
When Brazil was release and you ran out of energy doing a Job this was the popup you got Just a simple "not_enough_energy" slogan

Zynga realised fairly quickly that there was no popup to remind you to buy energy and no click to use a energy pack, so they fixed the popup, but it ALWAYS told us we need 2 energy to do that job doesn't matter What the job actually costs

Finally they got it fixed today well almost fixed today. Now it remind's us how much energy we need to do the job, not how many extra energy we need!

I guess its a improvement at least, maybe in the next few days it will actually tell us how much energy we need! I'd hate to see this popup use a mini energy pack click again and find out because the job costs 750+ energy I still don't have enough energy!

How good is your Spanish?

Well this has been a problem plaguing a few accounts for a while players properties changing language without warning, Here is the port in Italy, showing Spanish. Notice that Zynga can still get "Buy again 16RP" in English!

Secondly here is is my workshop in Brazil Yes you can see my default language is English yet Zynga for some reason thinks this works better.

Personally I'm not sure what language this is, Google translate is undecided if its Spanish or Italian... Maybe its both! If anyone out there knows for sure what language this is PLEASE comment below!

As this is a issue I've seen many people complain about I thought I would go check the support site to see if i could find something to fix it myself, the good news is a found a support document the problem was it wasn't any help at all

I was lucky enough to find Live chat, the bad news is they didn't have a answer either :(

The only thing I'm glad of is a Picture speaks in every language, so at least I can memorise the images and know what I'm building!

Brazil Mission Have Disappeared!!!

Some players missions have been lost somewhere between Italy and Brazil, and woke one morning to find this greeting them

If they contacted customer support, they might of been lucky enough to be greeted with this copy & paste response

But You know life is bad, when you have a whole customer support page dedicated to your fault!

If they want the problem fixed they have to Vote for it? Hang on, I have to vote to have my problems fixed now? Can the fact that you have had to put up a dedicated support page say that there is a problem? and it needs to be fixed?Vote!

More Mission Bugs

This time around less of a bug, and more of a question does Zynga even play their own games? Please read the description of the Mission

I'm starting to wonder more and more if Zynga even puts up with their own spamy game!

Popups that work!

Just before the weekend Zynga launched some update, that broke all popups on a unframed game.... but more importantly broke all popups on MafiaWars.com
As Zynga programmers have the weekend off, doing whatever it is that Zynga programmers do on weekend (we know its not looking thru lines of code fixing bugs) Our coders on this side of the lines where busy looking into what they could do to fix a unframed game, their first attempt working, but giving us no popups, their second attempt worked but gave us every popup that could!

Finally I bring the good news that their third attempt has corrected the problem, and Martin over @ team Spockholm has come to our rescue!

Zynga the Ultimate popup blocker!

Infested with bugs, RewardVille next

Well we know Mafia Wars has its own collection of bugs, but these are breading and spreading it seems!
Rewardville has been infected

The good news is the Zynga team has been past with the bug spray and got RewardVille back on its feet, the only problem now is it seems all outstanding RewardVille mystery gifts have been neutered

Sure anything sent from now on should work, but to be honest how often does anyone check their RewardVille gifts? Every game now has its own built in message centre for accepting and sending gifts, there seems little reason to check out the Facebook requests page any more!

When checking mine today, I had over 40 outstanding Rewardville gifts all had already been neutered by the Zynga bug squad. So far I haven't got anything "good" from these Mystery Gifts but I'm sure I'm not alone in accepting RewardVille gifts maybe once a week or so, I just hope this doesn't become a regular thing, I remember Zynga killing off all mystery bags more then once in the past, maybe we should expect the same from RewardVille and accept our gifts more often!

Brazil was Broke in a Day!

Rome wasn't built in a day! But Brazil can be broke in a day!

The last 2 days have been PLAGUED with errors, Problems unframing, problems with Missions Problems with every thing it seems, some of these have ranged from small innocent errors, up to the more "frustrating contact CS to progress" any further errors!

Do I get extra skill points for 106% Mastery?

The informative status updates! Barracks make Stamina not C4!

Then we have the mastery loot in Brazil its self

Right the way to the new missions roll outs, Still cant Master a Masted job!

Then we have the lack of popups, no healing no Banking, anything that relied on a popup was Gone!

The FAQ published days ago with the wrong items stats!

And finally we have the Mission where we have to rob Un-robbable properties, and the ONLY way to progress past this was to contact Customer support

Now Zynga we know this is a new City and we can expect bugs, but come on, what's the go here, who ever designed these missions DOESN'T EVEN PLAY THE GAME!

So Zynga here is my suggestion... Ever here the proverb "A tradesman is only as good as his tools" Let the PAC @ the missions first, Hell just give them a list of the missions and requrements, so they can be read through by someone who ACTUALLY plays the game!

All Popups gone!

Yep you heard it right ALL popups have gone! Zynga fixed them!
To bad its unintentional, and they Fixed them all including the Heal, the Bank, and the Robbing Bonus! They are gone too!

Maybe its intentional to see whos using scripts or bookmarklets! as they can still heal & Bank fine!
If your one of the lucky ones working on a browser that's been open for hours, and have these popups still might work for you, so make the most of them, and go ICE someone whilst you can still heal!
