Brazil 5-8 Released

Brazil 5-8 Has been released, I'm still working my way through them, so give it time before you see a full Brazil Re-Cap...

But in the mean time, here is the new list of the top Lootable items!

Lots of new loot with Numbers in the 90's range, A few in the 80's range, and 2 stragglers in the rear still boasting about their stats in the 70's

For the moment the ONLY thing I can Suggest to those out there that want a CHANCE of getting 501 of any of these pieces. Stay at Silver Mastery on Chapter 7 (Rio De Janeiro: Copacabana) after you have unlocked Chapter 8 (Sao Paolo: Taubate Prison), and start repeating the jobs for the lower Energy cost, Sure it seems the drop rates are better then what they where for Brazil 1-5, But they are still bad enough you can expect to spend hundreds of millions of energy points for your 501 Sets!

What surprised me the most is all the newly released FHEL6 has been replaced, Yet the Good old Venomous from FHEL4 is still hanging around!

Brazil Properties

After much agony I've finally made it a Fully upgrade set of Brazil properties....

Now how in Hell do you get there? Well first you need to know how many building parts you will need!
Thanks to the Wiki we have the totals below!

Total Building Cost
MaterialAmount
Item reinforcedsteel 01.png Reinforced Steel315
Item cinderblock 01.png Cement Block315
Item powertools 01.gif Power Tools315
Item constructionworker 01.png Construction Worker450
Huge item braziliantimber 01.png Brazilian Timber315

Getting Reinforced Steel, Cement Blocks and Powertools should be easy, its the Construction Workers and Brazilian Timbers that are going to cause issues!
But the Easy ones first!

If your short on 315 Cement blocks or Power tools, you can always buy more at 1RP each, OR as Michael reminded me you can buy them in the Market place for Loyalty Points! Yep those useless points we have been collecting for a while now, they can be put to SOME use finally!

And at 20 LP each, you cant say they are expensive! But everyone should have massive stockpiles of these, as they drop from Jobs, and Fights since the Chop Shop was introduced, so if you don't have your 315 already, then maybe you don't play enough :)

The Reinforced Steel, is another EASY one, it was used in Las Vegas's Vault and it hasn't had a use since, so again you should find heaps of these laying around, asking to be put to work in Brazil.
If you don't have enough, unfortunately these don't drop from Fights and only drop from Jobs in Las Vegas, so I'd suggest putting your wish list to work, and hoping some fellow Mafia member has a few hundred to spare!

As for the 2 Hard ones to collect, the Brazil Timber and the Construction Worker there are only 3 ways to get them

Fighting
3 Brazil Construction workers and 3 Brazilian Timbers in 10K Wins so don't count on getting to many this way, the only piece of good news I have is they drop in All cities, So I'm fighting in Bangkok for this Image and still looting Timbers and Workers

Is the drop rate any better in Brazil? Well the simple answer is NO its the Exact same, with a catch, IF your fighting someone who's in Brazil you get 5X the amount of loot, If your fighting someone who happens to be in New York, WHILST your in Brazil then you only get 1X the loot, but still spend 5 Stamina per attack. So the Chance is the same, But when its time for your Workers or Timber to drop, and the player your fighting against HAPPENS to be another city, then you will only get 1 loot item.
In the sample above I had 22K wins, and scored just 5 Workers thats twice the stamina spent for 5/6th the loot drop!

Jobs
Doing Jobs is another way to find Workers, and Timbers, But with the increased cost of doing jobs and the Ultra low drop rate, I'm have yet been able to get a screen shot of a large enough data sample to show the drop rate in Brazil. The only thing I can tell you is they drop in All Cities! Here we have a Drop in New York

Thanks again to Michael for this one

And again dropping from New York doing the job "Federal Reserve Raid" which has a 22 Energy cost, just 1 Worker in 19,492 Energy.... Its most likely a better drop rate then what's in Brazil considering the cheaper energy costs in New York

Posts
Post to News Feed is the Last way to get these valued consumables
Each friend that clicks this post, will give you 1 of the requested item, up to 5 per day and unfortunately this is the best way to get these consumables as the drop rate every where SUCKS! The only Advice I have now that I've completed my Hold out, is because you need more Workers then Timbers ask for it more often! I only asked Timber Once, the rest of the time I've always asked for more workers, and at the end of everything I had 4 times the amount of Timber as I did workers!

So guys watch your timers ask as often as you can! And remember if ask every day for 3 months that's ONLY 450 Pieces, you still need a LOT more to Finish of Brazil! So get your Refinery and your Barracks upgraded first, as the more Looting you can do the faster you can upgrade!

More Brazil Bugs

Thanks to Mindy for pointing out another Bug, I'm just sorry that she had to find it the hard way
She was just trying to buy the last required items for the current Job she was working on, needing a cool 883,000 Brazilian Real she was confident that she had enough money from fighting and previous jobs so she clicked Do Job to open the purchase popout and she was greeted with this lovely message telling her she didn't have the required cash

So she scrolled all the way back to the top of her game to check how much cash she had had on hand BRL$902,597 cash on hand, Now someone at Zynga tell me WHY 902K isn't enough to buy 883K worth of gear?

Well the good news is I can answer this for Zynga, its the way they do their calculations Mindy already had the Abelha Helicopter from Mastering the 4th tier of Brazil so she gets a 10% Discount on all purchases. So her 883K worth of gear actually costs BRL$ 981K and this is were Zynga is making the mistake, its telling her she doesn't have enough cash to pay full price and offering her to buy more Brazilian Real before charging her the discounted price

The good news is if she had the extra 80K Real it would of run the purchase through at the cheaper price, or as I suggested she go into the City store and bought each item individually, to bypass this little bug

So a lesson Zynga apply DISCOUNT first, Then check to see if someone has enough cash NOT the other way around!
