Meet the Devs - Part 6 Art Gamer

Our Last "Dev" Also isnt a Dev shes the game Artist.... Maybe they only have 4 Devs working on Mafia Wars
But she is the last Dev in the Meet the Devs Event it Took some real time to track down, but here is her in game image

And No self respecting Dev wouldn't have at least some responsibility's her include Making Loot Art and Unicorn Magic (still the better April Fools event)

Well after over a hour searching I found her, Here is the Only Female Dev in the Beat the Devs event

I could find any details about or Art gamer, other then the fact that she has Worked on game art for Mafia Wars, Farmville, Cityville, and FrontierVille

But of all the Devs she was Liked more then the Mad Gifter, and Blue Eye Nate, So Zynga if your Listening Cool Game art is BETTER then a Community Manager and more stupid gifting events if you believe the Metrics

I couldn't find any more details on our Art gamer apart from she Liked rock-climbing, but then again it did look like she was being dragged along BUT I did manage to find some more impressive unreleased Game Art

Meet the Devs - Part 5 Blue Eyed Nate

The Second to last Dev isnt actually a Dev he is a Comunity Manager, Blue Eyed Nate is Responsible Talking to the Players, And Not Making things happen Fast enough!

Oh and for the record, it doesnt matter how many times you play this card, He doesn't answer ALL your Mafia Wars questions!

Well here he is  MR "Blue Eyes Nate" not nearly as intimating as the image above right?

Details on Blue Eyes Nate hard to come by, Being a forum manager he does make tracking details down info about him a bit tricky.... Guess its to keep the forum Trolls from TPing his house

But his Forum account says he has only been around since July 2010... So only 10 Months working for Zynga. His previous employers included working for Cafepress, Macy's and Sony!

Yet with all that past experience behind him he only managed 29K likes out of the promised 20Million players on Mafia Wars, More people liked the Mad gifter, and the Kid then they did the 5th Dev "Blue Eyes Nate"

But on the 1st of April he didn't only commit suicide but asked for help in doing so!

Well at least he is just as bad as the rest of us, he HAD to complete the event and had to Ice himself

The most interesting things I found when checking out this "Devs" profiles is with all the SPAM events they push into the game, They don't even have time to Player the game! Here Blue Eyes Nate Is getting his 17th Ice in 10 months playing the game!

Maybe he should try out some 3rd party tools, I hear there is one that will play the game FOR you whilst you go to work and earn more money to buy more Reward points!

Meet the Devs - Part 4 The Mad Gifter

Arrr the Mad Gifter Responsible for Free gifts and Request Traffic, and the Piglets that started all these gifting events!

Well here he is the "Mad Gifter", OMG doesnt it look like he is full of useless tips and hints about everything and nothing, and Maybe if we are lucky the Meaning he has the meaning of 47

The Mad Gifter has so much to be blamed for, Turns out he specialise in php and Java, As well as HTML and CSS... Maybe he should stop gifting and fix some issues with the fight page! Maybe his past experience with the Navy Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has something to do with it, Trying to stop us from fighting with one another or he could be researching the way we fight......

But Mr Mad Gifter has been With Zynga for almost 2 years now, Hired during their Q3 Boom back in 2009 but with all his efforts to give us spam event after spam event he still managed 32K Likes on his fan page

Meet the Devs - Part 3 Slacker Jack

The third Dev Slacker Jack New Cities, and Doing anything for Fruit Products?

Well here he is "Slacker Jack", Hmm he does look like he would do anything to skip out on work and head to the bar!

The Slacker Jack Isn't much of a Slacker it turns out, He is a Software Engineer in Mafia Wars, and has been working away at Mafia Wars for over 2 years!

Sure he might be slightly Biased when answering questions, But then again, Does he have a choice?

But then again in the same question I saw Dev's from both PlayFish and PlayDom voting for Zynga as well, So I guess they do something right, Maybe its all those free RP that Customer support hands out!

Slacker Jack only managed 33K Likes, and was so slack he couldnt even be bothered to add a witty line like the other Devs during the event!

Meet the Devs - Part 2 The Professional

The Second Dev the Professional's Responsibility's include Language Compatibility, and Fixing bugs (Nerfs)

Well here he is "the Professional" I guess he calls "home" a lot to run up the company's phone bill, I know be making work pay for my phone calls over me paying for them, Work always gets the corporate discounts!

The Professional is a Professional, and has Worked for IBM, is quite knowledgeable in Java, MXML, HTML, and Automates many tasks inside the Mafia wars game... Wonder if one of his automated tasks is the Lotto draw and needing 16 hours draw 5 numbers.... The Professional has been with Zynga for a short time, but is hated enough that he was featured in the Beat the Devs April fools event!, But he did manage to stay Professional and get 34K Likes on Facebook

At least the Professional was in Good Spirts and asked his Friends to come beat him up at the time!

Our First Dev the Kid Responsible for making all out Properties Flash based, and all those useless collections!

More details on the Kid are still Sketchy being that he isn't 12, but 13, he hasn't left much of a fingerprint on the Internet yet, But he did manage to stay a child and get 40K Likes on Facebook

One of the details we did manage to dig up is he Committed Suicide in Mafia Wars, because lets face it no one can stand to NOT complete a event!, And hates the gifting as much as we do!

Beat the Devs Revisit - Meet the Devs Event!

Over the last month we have had a endless onslaught of events, ranging from the Mafia Wars meetup, to Gfting Events, Spaming Events and Limited time Mission Events and with just one weekend of reprise during the month, so after missing my own Meet up I decided id like to Meet the Devs....
On the first of last month we had the Beat the Devs event Everyone got a chance to get in a beat up a Dev or 2, but we weren't told much about the Devs that the images where based on, or if they where in fact real people or not!

So a refresher, there where 6 Devs, and in the first post we provided some extra details about one of the Devs, but this time lets Find out who ARE the Devs behind the cards!
