Golden Promotion

The Golden Promotions are still being rolled out, and I got my first one today, These started rolling out the end of last month these give "great" rewards every 5 levels

The catch with these new promotions you need to allocate all your skill points to get the "Bonus Rewards" Which can be good.... but the have a overwhelming chance of being something BAD!!!

With a overwhelming chance of getting a Mystery Shipment as your "bonus reward"

And those last few that you have the same chance of dropping, as finding a Bug free Mafia Wars

•  3 attack points
•  1 defense point
•  3 defense points
•  2 Reward Points

So far this was the first Golden Promotion on my account, and the thought of allocating 1224 Skill points 5 at a time was to much too bear Specially when from my profile I can dump 100 skill points at a time

Overall I'm glad I finally got this, Just in case I ever decide to spend all my skill points again.... But then again with the chance of getting something GOOD so slim, and the chances of getting something CRAP so high, I think I'm going to save my 1k+ Skill points for a rainy day!

What makes this "Bonus reward" so abysmal is I know some players have had this for over a month, And yet I'm just getting it now, and there are other players out there that STILL don't have it....
Sure if players had allocated their Skill points, and had the Mini energy packs Most players could level up to 10 times a day with those, That's at least 60 CHANCES they have had to get the Golden Promotion rewards....
Remind me exactly how your "keeping the game fair" and "levelling the playing field" Zynga... i'd Love to know!

New Level up Bonus for some players

A New level up bonus has been released for some players, this is what's known as a experimental beta, its released to a small percentage of players so they can experience it, and Zynga watches them to see if they like it or not, some thing in game that we know and love every day started out like this beta here.....

This new level up feature, comes in many different sorts already, but the main factor is after allocating your skill points, you have a chance of receiving a bonus!

All players get a bonus every level, but once every 5 levels they get a "Golden Promotion" and have a chance of winning some of the better rewards as shown above

The problem is some players have a share and post to news feed, others are haunted with this method of sharing below, posting directly to someone's page, and we all know how much we ignore our own walls!

Personally I don't have this feature yet, and I don't know if I want it, I'd have to allocate all my skill points for a chance of the bonus, and we all know with Zynga the bonus we want doesn't drop that often!

That's a LOT of skills to allocate for a CHANCE of 3 attack or defence points!

So what do you guys think a good feature or a bad one?
