The Next Gifting event draws ever closer

Only 2 things are certain in the life of a Mobster they are Death and Taxes SPAM

Zynga LOVES their Spam events, and the next one has been in a holding pattern for what seems like weeks, But word is it should be released any day now!

News posts have been showing up in the feed already When will this gets released to the rest of us who knows. Specially with Zynga and their slow release system!

As with all these gifting events there will be 3 items and a mastery item from collecting all 3 items

 

Lets just hope Zynga keeps their promise of less gifts needed for this event 

Mini Energy packs are being removed

Yep you heard right, they are being pulled and replaced with the standard 125% energy packs we had in the past.... Going backwards anyone?
The Major difference is now they are going to be on a 8 hour timer rather then the 23 hour timer they use to be on.....

At the same time Zynga have announced that they are bringing back gifting events, BUT less gifts needed to be exchanged to complete the event, Personally I'm really sick of these gifting events, EVEN if we need less gifts sure the first few needed 24 gifts per gold mastery, then it was 28 gifts each time around.
What will it be this time? 2, 4, and 8? 14 gifts in total? that's still 126 Gifts to triple mastery a stupid event to "keep up with the Joneses"

How about changing the events for something with less GIFTING required!

New Gifting event: Cyber Warfare

Thats right the next gifting event is upon us, and if Zynga keeps their word it should be the last gifting event for a little while at least!

As with all other gifting events, we assume its 28 Gifts for gold mastery, and repeat the event 3 times!

My only questions is why in hell would someone want some blank CD's? This I've got no idea! Blank DVD's sure, Blank BlueRay's maybe... But CD's? I don't even think I can buy blank CD's locally any more, I sure I have to get them ordered in!

Oh well this is Zynga don't forget, better off to not ask some questions I guess its time to start asking, sending and requesting some Blank CD's!

PAC WIN - Gifting events get a Nerf!

The PAC has spent the last few weeks reporting nothing, as well there has been nothing to report, we have spent MOST of out time, scheduling live chat sessions, polls and screen shots, of how MUCH gifting events SUCK! And that we are all sick of sending 3 different looking free gifts to one another, the good news is we FINALLY got a answer! And made progress! One more gifting event is on the books, then we should be done with them... at least for a little while!

Quick PAC Update: Gifting Events OK, folks, here's news from Blue Eyed Nate that we've all been waiting for: "We have heard your cries about the gifting event! We are making changes and ask that you be patient! There is nothing we can do about this next gifting event as that one is bagged and ready to go, but we will be trying out new events which will provide the same type of rewards with a more rewarding player experience."  I will post a more in-depth PAC report later, but wanted to get this news out as soon as we got the all-clear to publish. Many of you were asking me this weekend what I meant when I said that we thought we were making progress and being heard, even though we didn't yet have any big "wins" to report. This is an example -- we've been pushing this issue relentlessly for weeks. Despite our efforts, we were told last week the free gifting events were staying because the data showed that people wanted them. (Which is why you heard us telling you not to participate in events you don't like.) But, we didn't accept that answer. We very clearly told Zynga that participation does NOT mean that people like a feature. It just means that they do it because they feel they have to in order to keep up, or because they feel obligated to return gifts to their friends. (But with a lot more words, examples, data, case studies from other companies, and so on.) For those who like the events... our understanding is there will continue to be new events and activities, and there may even be a gifting event here or there. But, the relentless pace of gifting event upon top of gifting event should stop after this next one. The PAC is working on many other issues. We'll give you an update on what we've asked for, what answers we've received and what we're working on. We got more answers today, so we need time to review them and compile the report, but you'll have it this week.

Brazil Smuggling Event

Yep that's right the next gifting event starts, right on the heals of the last gifting event!

Guess that means its time to boot up Link-a-Nator and Free Gift Get-A-Nator and start moving around Endangered Animals!
Only another 252 Gifts to move before the event is over! 

Remember the Smuggling event ends in on April 1st so start moving those gifts
