Disaster Relief Truck Makes it finally

Yes Yesterday I posted about the Get Satisfaction thread asking Zynga to help those in the USA well 5 Days after the orginal post Zynga has finally got to the mark, and released something to help those in the USA You will find this popup in your game to day reminding you that Relief is here

Overall its a good item, 112 Attack and 70 Defence i wouldnt be suprised if you see a few of these running around of the next few days

When clicking your will be taken the a page that looks almost identiacal to the Japan Relief page thats because Zynga is supporting Direct Relief International again

Now the Get Satisfaction thread is still running here and here is a comment from the comunity manager, Nathan McGee saying something should be here in the next few days.... Hmmm.... Guess he is a bit late to the news

Im glad we finally got Zynga to do something about this, Sure it only took  1 Blogger to write about the idea, 250 People to Like the idea... Maybe if we can get 250 People to Like NO MORE EVENTS that put a end to the events....
But it seems All of Zynga isnt behind this relief effort, unlike with the Japan earthquake....
If you Visit Zynga's Charity site Zynga.org you will find they are still pushing help for Japan with no mention of the Tornado's in the USA or even a press release to say they stepped up to the plate! and considering its gone past 5 in San Fransisco i doubt anything will get done about it

Either way, I'm glad the PAC and those in the comunity could Push maybe not Zynga, but at least the Mafia Wars Studio into doing something to help those in need!

Tornado Victims charity Item Requested

A few days ago, the USA was hit with a tornado disaster, now Zynga is known for helping other countries by putting together charity events.. So one of the PAC members put together a suggestion on the get satisfaction site that Zynga should do a charity event for the victims of the disaster, specially as the disaster was in their own country!

So after 3 days we the thread finally got to 100 likes, and got a comment from a rep, he submitted the idea back into Zynga, and we have been waiting since.... So far we only had the Thrill of the Hunt Mission Event released since then, But this is Zynga we are talking about, we could have 5 new things tomorrow none of them having to do with this Disaster relief...  I know setting up to help a charity takes time, But if you can get the Japan Fan released so quickly when dealing with a disaster over sea's WHY cant you get something released NOW when your dealing with something in your own back yard, Come on there is no Time Zones to deal with, there is no language barriers to deal with. I'm sure there is a bleeding heart in Zynga somewhere that can tell you exactly what charity you could work with right now!

I guess time will tell if we get something released into Mafia Wars.... And I guess it will also prove or disprove in Get Satisfaction actually works or not!
